At Mici, many of the ingredients are made in-house, like the pizza dough, sauces and meatballs, and they source only all natural products free of hormones and preservatives. Schiffer said they also source all of their gelato locally for each location, and will do the same for their North Texas restaurants.
The franchise group Mici is working with in D-FW plans to open three locations in the Frisco area. The first location will open in the spring or early summer of 2022 at 8244 FM 423 near Little Elm. A second Frisco location is scheduled to open by the end of the year. “I know a lot of brands look to go to Texas because it’s a huge growth state, which we love,” Schiffer said. “You look at the suburbs of Dallas, and the growth is amazing in North Texas. So many homes are being built and families are moving in. It’s just an exciting place.”
Schiffer said he hopes the Frisco locations take off and that more D-FW franchise locations will follow.
