On Tuesday, the last day for Floridians to register to vote before the Nov. 8 election, Crist organized a wide-ranging “choice day of action”.

The hurricane has commanded the attention of many Floridians. And surveys also show that inflation and the economy may be topping the concerns of voters heading toward Election Day, crowding out the future of abortion rights as a priority. “He may not have the courage to be honest with...the public, but radical Ron understands that Florida voters reject his extremist abortion agenda,” Wasserman Schultz said. The DeSantis campaign did not immediately return a request for comment. The two contenders are scheduled for their only TV debate of the campaign, Oct. 24.
