A 54-year-old Chicago man has been charged three years after prosecutors say he shot a woman and himself

Wilson and the woman had a relationship, according to Assistant State’s Attorney Loukas Kalliantasis, but they got into an argument inside an apartment in the 100 block of East 60th Street on March 4, 2019. He then allegedly turned the gun on himself and fired once into his own head. A witness saw Wilson shoot himself, and the woman, who was still conscious, told them he had just shot her, according to Kalliantasis.
