A Douglas Park, Chicago shooting left a man shot and killed in the 2700 block of West 18th Street, the police department said.

The man found fatally shot on Chicago's West Side early Sunday morning has been identified.

Tomas Villa, 22, was dead between two vehicles in the 2700 block of West 18th Street in Douglas Park around 2:15 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known.
