China will offer humanitarian aid to Ukraine despite not condemning the war started by Russian President Vladimir Putin more than a week ago.
The Foreign Minister for China, Wang Yi, said during a press conference on Monday that the Red Cross Society of China will provide supplies to help Ukrainians in need, according to Reuters.
Wang continued to emphasize that the relationship between Russia and China is"rock solid." Yi added that"no matter how sinister" the situation between Ukraine and Russia gets, China and Russia would continue to have"strategic determination" and to support"the comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination."
