“I watched some of the other things that Alasdair had done before to kind of get an idea of his tone, and obviously I looked at the script,” she says. “It’s an awkward piece, but I was just kind of leaning into that. Just playing off Dominic who was really a sweetheart and was just fun to be around.… I guess I was just thinking about many of my laundromat experiences.
