Chris Rock is headed to Houston area, tickets on sale Tuesday
Chris Rock announced 2022 world tour that includes stops in Houston, San Antonio and Irving.The recipient of the world’s most famous slap is coming to Houston.
Chris Rock, who was slapped by actor Will Smith during the Academy Awards last month, is bringing his Ego Death World Tour to the Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land Nov. 5. Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. April 12. The Live Nation pre-sale password is ROADIE. Rock was hit by Smith after making a joke involving Smith’s wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith. Rock has not commented in detail in public about the incident. Smith has been banned from attending the Oscars for 10 years.Houston isn’t Rock’s only Texas date. He is also playing San Antonio’s Majestic Theatre on Nov. 10 and Irving’s The Pavilion at the Toyota Music Factory on Nov. 3.
