Todd and Julie Chrisley of the reality show Chrisley Knows Best could face hefty prison sentences for their conspiracy to commit fraud convictions.

According to a 71-page sentencing memorandum obtained by WSB-TV 2 Atlanta, prosecutors state that"a lengthy period of incarceration is warranted."“The government has asked for a substantial sentence here,” former Assistant U.S. Attorney Scott Hulsey said of the memo.

“The seriousness of their actions is further underscored by the fact that neither defendant has expressed remorse for their crimes, instead continuing to blame others for their own criminal conduct. Given the seriousness of the Chrisleys’ crimes, a lengthy period of incarceration is warranted,” reads the prosecutors' recommendations.

The Chrisleys were convicted of conspiracy to defraud banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans this past summer. According to prosecutors,"when they learned that they were under investigation for those crimes, they involved their own family members and friends to obstruct justice." In a response, a lawyer for Todd said, “It is respectfully requested that the Court exercise its discretion and downwardly depart from the advisory Guideline sentence range and impose a combined sentence of limited incarceration, supervised release and restitution.”The sentencing will take place on Monday and Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
