WRTV SPORTS: A Cincinnati OC is joining the Colts, and ESPN reports the team is making a second hire.

CINCINNATI — WRTV affiliate WCPO confirms Cincinnati Bearcats offensive coordinator Tom Manning is leaving the team and joining the Indianapolis Colts.Manning was hired by UC last month and was the was the Colts TE Coach in 2018.

The news comes hours after ESPN reported that the Colts are planning to name Jim Bob Cooter as the team's next offensive coordinator. In recent years Cooter has served in a variety of roles with the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles. Last season, Cooter was the passing game coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

ESPN reports Cooter began his NFL coaching career with the Colts, serving as an offensive assistant from 2009 to 2011.
