The City of Dublin is calling it “the Greenest, Grandest Day of the Year.”
We’re really excited about it. It’s one of those things that always kicks off the spring season for us. Once St. Patrick's day parade comes around we all know spring is around the corner," said Alison LeRoy, director of events for the City of Dublin.
The day will start off with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Dublin Lion’s Club at Sells Middle School from 7:30-11 a.m., after which the parade will begin."We have our own officers, which is about 20 officers, in addition to our normal patrol staffing, and we also ask for help from our federal partners as well as our partners in Delaware County," said Sergeant David Gatterdam.
As the parade kicks off there will be road closures and reroutes, with some having limited access from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. Here are some of those road changes: Access to Metro Center through Metro Place South to Metro Place North from Double Tree Hotel to Frantz Road will be closedS.R. 161 and Riverside Drive roundabout will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.Frantz Road at Metro Place North to Bridge StreetWaterford Drive at South High Street to Monterey DriveTo ease traffic and parking problems, the city encourages parade goers to walk, bike, scooter or carpool, click here for places to park.
Dublin has partnered with Safe Ride of Central Ohio to offer discounted rides. The offer is from March 8-18.will also give you a discount up to $10 off of rides ride to or from events Dublin events, like the
