Cleanup efforts begin to clear site of former Chula Vista strip club

There are currently no plans to develop the property

Efforts began Monday to clear the site of a former strip club that sat on prime real estate on Chula Vista’s bayfront.

City officials were under the impression, however, that the business would offer a different form of entertainment, said Councilmember Jill Galvez, whose District 2 includes the property. Cleanup has started at the former EyeCandy Showgirls strip club site on Bay Blvd. in Chula Vista on Monday May 23, 2022.
