WILLOUGHBY, Ohio – Restaurateur and noted Cleveland chef Dante Boccuzzi is opening Dukes ‘n Boots, a new country bar, in early March. Located at 4027 Erie Street in downtown Willoughby, the bar marks the tenth establishment in a collection of restaurants that was previously focused around downtown Cleveland and Akron.
That’s probably because the street has attracted myriad restaurants and bars in recent decades. And that, in turn, has built a busy nightlife. “Since COVID, we’ve been refining the recipes, tasting and eating a lot of chicken,” he says. The final recipe comes with a few secrets. To complement the chicken and BBQ, most of the menu will be Southern comfort food. Other dishes will include alligator bites, smashburgers, freshly baked corn bread, a variety of pickles and more.
