Dumpsters, sheds, vehicles were all set alight by what is thought to be an open flame device early Saturday morning.
The department said in a news release that it had responded to multiple small blazes on Saturday between 12:20 a.m. and 2:30 a.m.
The second call was for another dumpster fire, this time in the 500 block of Avenue H South at 1:07 a.m. Damage was again contained and estimated at $500. Picture supplied by Saskatoon Fire Department.The department said the Battalion Chief had been searching the area for suspicious activity and people when a fourth call came in, this time for a shed on fire at 2:26 a.m. in the 800 block of Avenue H South. The shed was fully ablaze when crews arrived and two nearby vehicles were also on fire.
