The setting is a truck stop greasy spoon along a Pennsylvania highway. The kitchen is staffed by ex-convicts, each looking for a fresh start but constantly fighting the inertia of their past. There’s the fry man Raphael , a former addict who held up a bank; prep cook Letitia , a single mother who robbed a pharmacy; and Jason , the new guy with white supremacist tattoos and anger issues.
