Cabello sang “I LUV IT” during Lana Del Rey’s Weekend 2 performance, defying rumors that the surprise guest could be Taylor Swift.
Lana Del Rey headlines day one of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio on Friday, April 19, 2024. Cabello performed her song “I LUV IT” while Del Rey occasionally chimed in on the vocals, adding a lively song to the otherwise mostly relaxed set.
At the end of Cabello’s performance, Del Rey nodded to the song and the singer, changing the lyrics to “I love you, I love you, I love” as she sang to Cabello.The two are clearly close: In a March 22 Instagram post, Del Rey posted pictures of Cabello with the caption “i luv it,” perhaps clueing us all in to the performance.
