Democrat ic U.S. Senate candidate Colin Allred brought his campaign to Houston this week to try to reassure energy sector workers that he’s an ally even as U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz ’s campaign is warning that the Dallas congressman would threaten Texas oil and gas jobs.
