Colton Haynes said MTV nearly rejected him for 'Teen Wolf' because of a gay photoshoot he did as a teen.
” for two seasons, but the actor reveals in his new memoir, “Miss Memory Lane,” that he almost didn’t get cast in the role of Jackson Whittemore. According to Haynes, the head of MTV at the time didn’t want to hire him because of the gay-themed XY Magazine photo shoot he did as a teenager years before the show.
Haynes added that Davis “indeed fought for me,” adding, “I was grateful to him, and eager not to fuck up the opportunity.”
