The Bowl Creek Fire had threatened multiple communities as of Monday morning, as it burned near State Route 79 and State Route 77, northwest of Oracle Junction. Officials said that the fire has burned about 1,000 acres, threatening power lines and infrastructure, and smoke is impacting surrounding highways.
