Parsons is working his way up to full speed after missing Dallas’ last four games.

“My chances of playing on Sunday are high, but we just have to see how the practice week goes,” Parsons said after practice Wednesday. “I just have to get the feeling of the rush, I feel like I’m starting my season all over again.”The Cowboys have definitely missed their best defensive player in the last four games, going 1-3 and dropping three games behind Philadelphia in the standings.
“It’s tough because I felt like I could have made an impact in those games,” Parsons said. “When we’re losing by six points, I definitely feel like I could have contributed.”Parsons said that, in the time he’s been out, he’s watched other players make “big jumps” in the new defensive system under Mike Zimmer.
“Being in the meeting room, you can see guys trust the systems,” Parsons said. “I think everyone’s improved each week, if you’re really watching the tape.” Parsons did not confirm that his ankle is fully healed or that he will play on Sunday. He did say that a full week of practice would help him feel confident in his availability for this crucial division tilt with the Eagles.“I feel like I just have to be full go, be back in pads making my game-like movements,” Parsons said. “You don’t want to go out there and be limited.”Colin Capece is an intern covering high school sports for The Dallas Morning News.
