In the last three seasons, Parsons has the fourth-most sacks in the NFL. His 260 quarterback pressures and 21.2 pressure percentage places him among the best in the game.Parsons, however, isn’t focused on the number of sacks needed to obtain awards. He is concerned about how his play affects others. Sure, he desires another big season to command the contract he’s hoping for next summer.“I think y’all about to see it,” he said.
“I got my own personnel and stuff,” Parsons said. “It’s going to be exciting, I’m going to say that. I’m probably playing every single person. This is the first year where I can be in the two aisle, three, the four, it don’t matter. I can be a linebacker, I can be in the slot. I can almost be a safety, if you look at it that way.”Zimmer enjoys Parsons’ football IQ because he gets it.
