The lines of communication are open between Lamb and Elliott. The running back talks about the support Lamb has from teammates as he conducts his business.“CeeDee knows he’s put in the work,’’ Elliott said. “He had a great first four years. Every year he’s gotten better and better, so I mean right now the most important things is just stay in shape and make sure you’re ready.Elliott said the hardest thing about his holdout was being away from his teammates in camp. He missed the comradery.

This is the first time that now you’re kinda going against each other, so I mean, you’ve got to have thick skin.
His role in a crowded running back room is to be determined. Elliott isn’t the player he was earlier in his career. He won’t have the same impact.
