Kyle Hendricks threw a bullpen session at Wrigley Field before Tuesday's game in what could be the final step before taking the mound for the Cubs.
Hendricks last pitched for the Cubs on July 5, 2022, then went on the disabled list with a right shoulder strain. He made five rehab starts for Triple A Iowa.
