The heat and humidity aren’t too terrible just yet, but it’s probably the first in a long string of 90-plus-degree days.Slowly but surely, the heat gets worse this week. Highs in the low 90s today and tomorrow crescendo toward 100 Friday into the weekend. It might not be until early or the middle of next week that we will finally see some relief. The pattern is both persistently hot and dry with little chance of rain until perhaps late Sunday.
