Retailers scaled back their wild holiday shopping hours even before the pandemic, and since then the hours stores are open have been cut back even more....

If there’s a deal you’re after, remember that it’s probably available online or will be when stores open on Black Friday.

Malls like NorthPark Center become necessary destinations during the holiday season. It's warm inside and strong properties still have lots of stores to chose from.Retailers scaled back their wild holiday shopping hours even before the pandemic, and since then the hours stores are open have been cut back even more.

Stores and malls have discovered they can open an hour later and close an hour or two earlier without inconveniencing shoppers or hurting their businesses. This year it feels more like a normal Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday long week. But don’t expect to be shopping at 12:01 a.m. Friday at Town East Mall or around the clock at Allen and Grand Prairie Premium Outlets.or will be when Black Friday begins.Stores opening early on Black Friday6 a.m.:Burlington, Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less, Target and TJ Maxx.Major shopping center hoursAllen Premium Outlets: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.Frisco’s Stonebriar Centre: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
