Dallas police were responding Monday to a North Dallas hospital after receiving reports about a child shot, the department said. Officers were dispatched about 10:20 a.m. to Medical City Dallas Hospital at 7777 Forest Lane, near U.S. Highway 75. It was unclear how the child was shot. Police did not release the child’s condition, age or any additional information. Police were investigating.. Kelli covers breaking news and public safety at The Dallas Morning News.
