The National Weather Service said showers and storms are likely after 2 p.m.

Severe Tuesday afternoon storms could flood parts of central Pennsylvania as strong, damaging wind gusts whip through the area, forecasters said.Showers and storms could linger in some areas until about 3 a.m. Wednesday, forecasters said.

Wednesday has a chance of showers between 8 a.m. and noon, followed by a chance of more showers and thunderstorms after noon, according to the NWS. Forecasters said more rain could fall between 8 a.m. and noon Thursday. Storms could develop after 2 p.m.Forecasters said other than a slight chance of showers Saturday, this weekend will be sunny with low 80-degree highs.Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. Chance of precipitation is 40%.Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85.
