SAN DIEGO – Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin is in critical condition at a Cincinnati hospital after suffering cardiac arrest on the field during Monday night’s game against the Bengals.
Hamlin made a routine tackle, stood up, then quickly collapsed. Medical staff administered CPR, before putting Hamlin in an ambulance to escort him to the hospital.Dr. David Chao, also known as Pro Football Doc, elaborated on the tragic situation on KUSI’s Good Morning San Diego. Dr. Chao explained outside of a hospital, there’s no better place to pass out than on an NFL field because they are prepared with all the medical personnel that is needed for situations like this.
