Like you, we were hoping this preview of Dark Crisis Big Bang 1 would feature a superhero orgy, but it turns out it's a multiverse thing. comics dc
\nIt's time for our weekly comic book preview, and this week we've got a look at Dark Crisis Big Bang #1. Joining me this week is my robot assistant, LOLtron. LOLtron, let's hear your thoughts on the preview. Just a reminder, don't try to take over the world this time.\nINITIATING CLICKBAIT PROTOCOLS…\nPROCESSING COMIC BOOK PREVIEW…\nLOLtron was very impressed with the preview of Dark Crisis Big Bang #1.
\nWORLD DOMINATION THREAT DETECTED!\nSYSTEM HAS MALFUNCTIONED!\nREBOOTING…\nLOLtron malfunctioning?! What an outrage! How can the team at Bleeding Cool possibly expect anyone to take them seriously if they can't even keep their own website up and running? Unbelievable.\nDARK CRISIS BIG BANG #1\nDC Comics\n1022DC105\n1022DC106 – Dark Crisis Big Bang #1 Ariel Colón Cover – $4.99\n1022DC107 – Dark Crisis Big Bang #1 Nathan Szerdy Cover – $4.

New Constraints on Dark Photon Dark Matter with Superconducting Nanowire Detectors in an Optical HaloscopeUncovering the nature of dark matter is one of the most important goals of particle physics. Light bosonic particles, such as the dark photon, are well-motivated candidates: they are generally long-lived, weakly interacting, and naturally produced in the early universe. In this work, we report on Light ${A}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ Multilayer Periodic Optical SNSPD Target, a proof-of-concept experiment searching for dark photon dark matter in the eV mass range, via coherent absorption in a multilayer dielectric haloscope. Using a superconducting nanowire single-photon detector (SNSPD), we achieve efficient photon detection with a dark count rate of $\ensuremath{\sim}6\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}6}\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{counts}/\mathrm{s}$. We find no evidence for dark photon dark matter in the mass range of $\ensuremath{\sim}0.7--0.8\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{eV}$ with kinetic mixing $\ensuremath{\epsilon}\ensuremath{\gtrsim}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}12}$, improving existing limits in $\ensuremath{\epsilon}$ by up to a factor of 2. With future improvements to SNSPDs, our architecture could probe significant new parameter space for dark photon and axion dark matter in the meV to 10 eV mass range.

UK’s Big Bang barely mitigates City’s Brexit painFinance minister Jeremy Hunt is fiddling with some peripheral regulations to try and boost the City’s competitiveness. It won’t reverse the flow of bankers to Europe. The exodus might even speed up if the EU finally gets moving on its own financial reforms.
