DC Comics will soon be taking readers to Danger Street, and in new covers for the maxiseries' third issue, Darkseid and Metamorpho take center stage. In the covers for Danger Street #3 from comic book legend Ramona Fradon and Jorge Fornes, two of the main players in the jam-packed new series from Tom King and Fornes get spotlighted. The pieces show just how far-reaching across the DC Universe the new comic will be.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Danger Street is an upcoming maxiseries from Tom King and Jorge Fornes that will make the characters who originally appeared in the mid-'70s series, the 1st Issue Special, exist within a connected. The original 1st Issue Special anthology debuted new stories and characters, with each issue being entirely separate from one another - with DC Comics seeing if any of them could catch on and become ongoing books.
Danger Street's New Cover Art Hints At The Story Ahead 2 Images Close The cover art from Fradon and Fornes hint at the interconnected story coming in Danger Street from DC Comics. Metamorpho will join Starman and Warlord in the not-so-great plan of trying to summon Darkseid with Doctor Fate's helmet to capture the villain and prove they belong in the Justice League. Getting Ramona Fradon to do a variant cover for Danger Street is awesome, as the 96-year-old is still doing some incredible work six decades after her first work at DC Comics. The Metamorpho cover with Shaner's inks is fantastic and a perfect image to tease the adventures ahead for the hero. Readers can pick up the Metamorpho and Darkseid-starring covers when Danger Street #3 by DC Comics arrives in comic book stores on February 15, 2023.
