In an about-face, the co-founder of HQ Trivia's parent company said the quiz show might live on
Live game-show app HQ Trivia shut down over the weekend, with hosts making profanity-laced comments and joking about unemployment on a final broadcast. But in an about-face Tuesday, the company’s co-founder now says the quiz show might live on.
“Not a done deal yet, but I’m optimistic,” Rus Yusupov, co-founder of HQ Trivia parent Intermedia Labs Inc., said Tuesday on Twitter. “In its new home, we should expect HQ to go through some changes, especially to cover expenses, and be less buggy.” Mr. Yusupov declined further comment.
