The deadline for Top Workplaces 2023 awards has been extended, giving more time for people who love where they work to nominate it for a unique honor.

This is the 15th year for Central Indiana's Top Workplaces awards. So far, more than 150 organizations have signed up to participate. Any organization with 50 or more employees in Central Indiana is eligible, which includes public, private, non-profit or governmental organizations.Love where you work? Workplaces are ranked in three categories: large organizations with more than 400 employees, mid-sized organizations with 150 to 399 employees and small organizations with 50 to 149 people. Energage, the research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media in 61 markets and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in 2021.

IndyStar partners with research company Energage for the survey annually. In 2021, there were 2,173 organizations invited to participate, with 159 surveyed and 107 of them recognized. More than 17,000 employees shared their thoughts on their workplaces last year. There are 23 county regions in central Indiana where workplaces can be nominated, which include the following: Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Clinton, Decatur, Delaware, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Putnam, Rush, Shelby, Tippecanoe and Tipton County.
