The buck jumped through a window and crash-landed into a fifth and sixth-grade classroom.

A regular school day was interrupted for a district in Columbia County when a deer found itself in a middle school building instead of its natural habitat, according to reports.

Fortunately, no students were hurt in the incident because the classroom was empty, although a teacher was sitting at a desk about a foot away from the window. Once it happened, the deer stormed through the room before taking off into an empty hallway. “We evacuated all the students in that wing to other areas of the school and cornered off the hallways,” officials said to
