Nighthawks need two wins Thursday vs. Otay Ranch to reach Open title game
It’s a place no Nighthawk player has ever been.
Two more wins — both against No. 4 Otay Ranch on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Santee Sportsplex — would hand the Nighthawks a berth in their first final in the Open Division. The USD-bound hurler also slammed a pair of doubles to drive in three runs. Giaime doubled in a run in the third inning and finished off a six-run fourth inning with another double.
