The museum announced its cancellation Monday. Reached by email, a representative did not offer comment on what exactly was damaged.
In an email to members, the museum said “We understand that many of you were looking forward to attending this exhibition, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”a traveling exhibit organized and distributed by the National Geographic Society and the Jane Goodall Institute . It was most recently on view in Missouri at the St. Louis Science Center, Oct. 7, 2022 through April 9, 2023.
Instead of the exhibit, the museum will screen the film “Jane Goodall’s Reasons for Hope” in its new Infinity Theater. Members will have access to a screening on June 2 as well as $5 tickets while it’s shown. The movie opens to the public one June 3.
