The winning Powerball lottery numbers are drawn Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at 10:59 p.m. The Powerball jackpot drawing today (9/23/2023) is worth an estimated $750 million for a single winner.
If someone hits the jackpot at the estimated amount, it would be the 12th largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history.
While no one across the country hit Wednesday’s $677 million jackpot, three second-prize tickets were sold. Tickets sold in Georgia and Texas are worth $2 million each because they were bought with the Power Play option. An additional $1 million ticket was bough in Georgia. Each matched five numbers but not the Powerball., a Powerball ticket bought at Acme on Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township is worth $150,000 because the winner spent an extra $1 for the Power Play option.
