Disney World details major changes coming to Epcot

Epcot is going back to its roots: EPCOT, experimental prototype community of tomorrow.

Disney has now announced that Epcot will be known as EPCOT, recalling the acronym’s original meaning when the park opened in 1982 – experimental prototype community of tomorrow.

World Nature is “dedicated to understanding and preserving the beauty, awe and balance of the natural world,” according to Disney.
