Several gunmen fired dozens of shots April 11, fatally shooting Aureanna Hernandez and wounding a man in the 2600 block of Ingersoll Street.
The residents of that home said they were asleep as the bullets went through the back of the house, damaging their TV and mirrors. Gunfire also damaged their truck, they said, which was parked in their driveway. A tarp covered the front windshield last week.Residents said they were tired of the violence in the community. Many declined to share their names out of fear of retaliation by the gunmen.
