The Miami Dolphins will be without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in their AFC Wild Card playoff game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, increasing the odds against the Fins to win their first postseason game since 2000.
The Bills are making their fourth consecutive playoff appearance after winning the AFC East and finishing with a 13-3 record, including 7-1 at home. Throw in that Tagovailoa won’t play and Thompson is making just his second start and first in the playoffs in one of the toughest environments in the NFL? Bills all day.
His 35 touchdown passes are tied for second and his quarterback rating of 71.2 is second out of any QB in the league.
