Former President Donald Trump mocked Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis over her insistence on a hefty bond for him.
In a post on the social media outlet Truth Social, Trump jabbed Willis over her persistence for a $200,000 bond, joking that he might flee to Russia and stay in a suite with Russian President Vladimir Putin."The failed District Attorney of Fulton County , Fani Willis, insisted on a $200,000 Bond from me," Trump said.
Trump was indicted last week by a Fulton County grand jury over alleged election interference revolving around activity during the 2020 presidential election in Georgia.
