In the jury instructions, Cannon appeared to suggest to the jury that they are permitted to consider the classified documents to be Trump's personal items, under the Presidential Records Act.In response, Smith filed a strong rebuke against the order saying that they 'rest on an unstated and fundamentally flawed legal premise.
