Kids look forward to the balloon drop every year since most New Year’s Eve festivities are beyond their bedtimes, said Richard Kissel, the museum’s chief program officer. It was Sophia’s first year attending the event. Kinsey attended the 2018 and 2019 editions of the event, father Austin Hodges said, but not theThe Doseum sold out this year’s event, with 1,000 paid admissions.
