Dow Inc.’s stock DOW was slightly higher premarket after the chemicals company posted a big decline in second-quarter earnings but still topped consensus estimates. Dow had net income of $501 million, or 68 cents a share, for the quarter, down from $1.681 billion, or $2.26 a share, in the year-earlier period. Adjusted per-share earnings came to 75 cents, ahead of the 70 cent FactSet consensus. Sales fell to $11.420 billion from $15.664 billion a year ago, but were ahead of the $11.
