Police in Salt Lake City are asking for the public's help after an early-morning shooting on Oct. 13 that left a man dead.

Authorities received a 911 call just before 1:45 a.m. Friday that someone was on the ground in the area of 600 East and 200 South, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.The victim, identified at this point as a man in his 20s, died at the scene, according to an SLCPD statement.
