A former teacher and track coach at Dripping Springs ISD was arrested Thursday, accused of having inappropriate communications with his middle school students. The man also provided vaping devices with THC to students, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators learned that the Hays County teacher sent inappropriate images to juveniles through Snapchat,Dripping Springs Independent School District
Kevin James McLean, 30, was charged with four counts of sale, distribution or display of harmful materials to a minor; and three counts of felony distribution of a controlled substance to a minor.The Hays County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the communications on April 27. Investigators learned that McLean sent inappropriate images to juveniles through Snapchat, a press release from the sheriff’s office said. It is unknown how many students McLean sent images to.
