The chase ended when the driver went over spike strips and lost control of the vehicle in Willoughby Hills.
EUCLID, Ohio - A driver fleeing from police fired multiple shots at officers early Tuesday morning.
According to Euclid Police Cpt. Mitch Houser, officers responded to the area of E. 232nd and Gay Streets for a report of shots fired during an argument. Responding officers noticed a vehicle fleeing in the area at a high rate of speed and attempted a traffic stop; however, the driver did not pull over, said Cpt. Houser.
Multiple police agencies from Cuyahoga County and Lake County assisted during the pursuit.
