got an on-court assist from an unexpected teammate early in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Mavericks at Chase Center.

Late in the first quarter, Curry put up a 3-pointer that rolled around the rim before finally settling through the net. Curry fell to the ground, complaining of contact from Dallas Mavericks guard Spencer Dinwiddie. No call was made, and Curry threw his hands up in disgust. The time he spent on the floor gave the Mavs a perfect five-on-four opportunity, something Golden State assistant coach Mike Brown quickly gleaned and wanted to prevent.

So Brown sprung into action: he grabbed Curry and gave him a firm push in the butt to help him pick up some immediate momentum heading down the floor.
