Police rushed to several 911 calls of a shooting at the shop and found Denny Sanchez, 34, of Somerset County, fatally shot, according to authorities.
Tayyab A. Ware, 31, of Augusta, Georgia, was sentenced to 35 years in state prison, including 30 years without parole, and ordered to pay $25,000 in restitution, Somerset County Acting Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart said. Co-defendant Todd Smith, 32, of Edison, was sentenced to 10 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to robbery in the holdup.of offenses, including murder, felony murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and weapons charges.
