“This is a passion of mine,” she told us. “And family law experience is critical. And I’m the only one on the court now that has that kind of experience. And more than half of our emergency docket consists of CPS cases. I just don’t know that people really realize how much of that we deal with.” Huddle is an experienced commercial litigator, particularly in the areas of personal injury law and shareholder disputes. She also served as justice for the Court of Appeals for the First District of Texas, authoring more than 400 majority opinions.
