One of the leading manufacturers of insulin said it will cut the cost of its most commonly-prescribed insulin products to make it easier for patients to afford the diabetes drugs

California Gov. Gavin Newsom recently announced the state will begin making its own insulin to help lower the cost of the diabetes medication.
