Los fanáticos del hip hop, country, pop, funk, R&B y rock tienen motivos para celebrar a la generación 2023 que ingresa al Salón de la Fama del Rock & Roll.
Missy Elliott, Kate Bush, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Chaka Khan, el creador de “Soul Train” Don Cornelius y el fallecido George Michael serán incorporados al salón hoy viernes por la noche en Nueva York. La ceremonia se transmitirá en vivo por primera vez en Disney+. También ingresarán The Spinners, Rage Against the Machine, DJ Kool Herc, Link Wray, Al Kooper y el socio compositor de Elton John, Bernie Taupin.
El salón la reconoció por “usar paisajes sonoros exuberantes, experimentación radical, temas literarios, sampleos y teatralidad para cautivar al público e inspirar a innumerables músicos”. Bush llega a la ceremonia habiendo batido tres récords mundiales Guinness, incluido convertirse en la mujer de mayor edad en alcanzar el primer puesto en las listas de popularidad y la brecha más larga entre los números uno en la lista de sencillos del Reino Unido.
